Role: Front-End Design Engineer (ReactJS)

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Engagement: Contractual

Duration: 12 Months (Extendable, Long-term with Marc Ellis)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Front-End Design Engineer with strong expertise in Design Thinking, UI/dashboard creation, and 3D/interactive design, combined with working knowledge of ReactJS. The ideal candidate applies a human-centered, problem-olving mindset to design and prototype innovative solutions, then works closely with front-end developers to deliver scalable, intuitive, and high-quality user experiences.

Education:

• Degree, Postgraduate in Computer Science or related field

Skills & Qualifications:

Design Thinking

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Design Thinking and applying it to real-world product challenges.
• Strong skills in UI dashboards, 3D/interactive design, and user experience innovation that are both functional and engaging.
• Applying Design Thinking methodologies to deeply understand user needs, reframe problems, and create user-centric solutions.
• Collaborating with front-end developers, ensuring design feasibility and delivering optimized, high-quality outputs.
• Define and evolve design standards, component patterns, and reusable assets, contributing to scalable design systems.
• Ensure solutions are responsive, accessible, and performant across devices and platforms.

ReactJS

• Knowledge of ReactJS (familiarity with Hooks, Context API, Redux is a plus).
• Strong foundation in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in styling frameworks: Tailwind CSS, Styled Components, CSS Modules.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and WebSockets (from a front-end integration perspective).
• Exposure to testing frameworks (Jest, Jasmine, Enzyme) and build tools (Webpack, Babel).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
• Translating design concepts into ReactJS prototypes and UI components to validate ideas and support development.
• Participating in Agile development cycles, contributing design insights during planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
