Job Title: SAP SAC Consultant

Location: Abudhabi On-site

Duration: 6 months extendable 

Notice Period: Immediate joiner only 

We are looking for an experienced SAP SAC Consultant with a strong finance and accounting background to lead the design and delivery of analytics solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). This role is ideally suited for a professional who has either worked as an accountant or directly supported finance reporting, and now operates at the intersection of finance and enterprise analytics.

While the role will maintain a strong finance lens, it is also expected to support the reporting and planning requirements of other business areas, including operations, supply chain, commercial, and HR. The successful candidate will act as a central point of expertise for SAC across the organisation, enabling data-driven decision-making and alignment with strategic KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Implementation

• Work closely with Finance and Controlling teams to gather, analyse, and translate reporting and planning requirements into SAC dashboards, stories, and planning models.
• Build SAC stories and planning templates that reflect key financial KPIs, forecasts, and performance metrics.
• Drive the implementation of end-to-end SAC solutions, integrating with S/4HANA (FI/CO), SAP Datasphere, and other platforms.
• Optimise usability and performance of SAC solutions, incorporating best practices in financial reporting and user experience.

Data Management & Integration

• Develop and manage SAC data models and ETL pipelines from SAP and non-SAP sources.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of data through effective data governance and quality checks.
• Work with data teams to connect SAC to third-party platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, and SQL databases as needed.

Financial Domain Expertise

• Leverage deep understanding of financial processes (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Centers, Internal Orders) and controlling (profitability analysis, planning, budgeting).
• Design planning models and reports that support cost allocations, variance analysis, and real-time operational dashboards.
• Act as a bridge between finance and technical teams, helping translate business language into technical configuration and vice versa.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, CMA, or equivalent qualification is a strong plus.
• 10+ years of experience in SAP Finance (FI/CO), with at least 3 years in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Proven experience in developing financial dashboards, planning models, and KPI reports in SAC.
• Knowledge of SAP Datasphere, BW/4HANA, or similar enterprise data platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other enterprise reporting tools.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, or other modern cloud-based data warehouses.
• SAC certification (e.g., SAC Data Analyst, Planning).
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, especially with finance users.
