Sr. Technology Engineer (DevOps Mobile) Contract

Role: Senior Technology Engineer (DevOps Mobile)
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Engagement: Contractual
Duration: 12 Months (Extendable, Long-term with Marc Ellis)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Technology Engineer – DevOps to support and enhance our mobile automation
and CI/CD platforms for iOS and Android applications. The role focuses on building reliable, secure, and
scalable pipelines while supporting development teams across delivery and operations.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or Information Technology.
• 7+ years of total engineering or operational experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar DevOps / CI/CD role.
• Experience working in large, complex, globally distributed enterprise environments with high availability and transaction volumes.
• Strong communication and articulation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

DevOps & CI/CD

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins (Pipeline as Code)
• Develop and maintain Jenkins Shared Libraries and reusable pipeline components
• Implement PR-based Git workflows using GitHub / GitHub Enterprise
• Integrate DevOps and SecOps tools into pipelines (e.g., SonarQube, Checkmarx, Sysdig, Nexus, Nexus-IQ, Cosign)
• Monitor CI/CD systems and troubleshoot pipeline and infrastructure issues
• Experience with Nexus or Artifactory is an added advantage

Mobile CI/CD (iOS & Android)

• Support mobile automation for iOS and Android using Fastlane and Gradle
• Manage mobile build artifacts (IPA, APK, AAB, dSYMs)
• Handle iOS code signing, Xcode builds, and Android Gradle builds
• Support mobile app distribution via TestFlight, Firebase, App Center, or similar platforms
• Exposure to mobile security or compliance requirements is an added advantage

Cloud, Containers & Infrastructure

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for containerized deployments
• Work with Kubernetes and OpenShift environments
• Deploy and manage infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or OCI
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, Ansible, or similar tools
• Automate deployment and configuration management tasks
• Experience working in regulated or large enterprise environments is an added advantage

Security, Observability & Reliability

• Implement logging and monitoring using ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana
• Support microservices authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0
• Integrate security and quality tools such as SonarQube into CI/CD pipelines
• Troubleshoot BAU issues and production incidents
• Knowledge of container or runtime security tools is an added advantage

Delivery & Collaboration

• Work on projects from inception through delivery
• Support both delivery and operational responsibilities aligned with DevOps / SRE methodologies
• Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders
• Maintain a pragmatic, trust-based approach to problem solving
