Role Purpose

The IBM Integration Lead Developer will lead the design and hands-on development of enterprise integrations while providing technical guidance to the team. This role combines delivery ownership with strong development capability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead integration design and development activities

• Develop complex message flows, exception handling, and transformations

• Perform code reviews and quality assurance

• Guide junior developers and support knowledge transfer

• Coordinate with architects, application teams, and vendors

• Own end-to-end delivery of integration components

• Support production incidents and root cause analysis

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 8–10 years of hands-on IBM IIB / ACE development

• Strong integration design experience

• Advanced ESQL development skills

• Experience with high-volume, mission-critical banking integrations

• Strong understanding of security, performance, and resiliency

• Experience with version upgrades or migrations (IIB → ACE) preferred

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent

• IBM Integration certifications preferred
