IBM Integration Technical Lead / Integration Architect (Hands-On)

Role Purpose

The IBM Integration Technical Lead will be responsible for driving integration architecture, hands-on delivery, and technical governance across banking integration initiatives. This role remains deeply hands-on, despite seniority.

Key Responsibilities

• Define integration architecture and standards using IBM ACE / IIB

• Perform hands-on development for complex and critical integrations

• Lead large-scale banking integration programs

• Govern best practices for error handling, performance, and security

• Act as the primary technical interface for business and IT stakeholders

• Mentor integration teams and enforce development standards

• Support strategic initiatives, upgrades, and platform modernization

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 10–12 years of hands-on IBM Integration experience

• Strong architectural knowledge with practical delivery exposure

• Expertise in:

  • IBM ACE / IIB

  • IBM MQ

  • REST / SOAP integrations

• Proven experience in banking or regulated environments

• Strong stakeholder communication and leadership skills

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent

• IBM ACE / Integration Architect certifications preferred

Important Note (Common Across All Roles)

• Hands-on development is mandatory across all experience levels

• Experience in core banking and enterprise integrations is highly preferred

• Candidates must be comfortable working in a regulated banking environment
