Job Description:
SeniorLegalCounsel
The Senior Legal Counsel provides advice and support to all
business units on technology transactions, corporate governance, regulatory,
compliance and intellectual property matters. This position is located at the
headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
The Role:

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Senior
Legal Counsel will:
·
Draft, review and negotiate commercial
agreements including software licenses, consulting agreements and T&C’s.
·
Provide proactive legal advice to the relevant
sales, procurement and technology teams on various legal/regulatory matters,
such as M&As, export controls, labour laws and privacy/data protection.
·
Assist in the development and rollout of the
compliance program.
·
Develop and deliver employee trainings to
promote compliance with all local and international laws and regulations.
·
This role provides an excellent mix of autonomy,
responsibility and support as well as progression opportunities.
Qualifications:
·
Law degree from a recognized university.
·
7-12 years” PQE dealing with complex commercial,
M&A, Private Equity agreements, with a preference for international
technology related contracts.
·
Solid legal experience at a leading law firm or
corporate legal department is a requirement.
·
Ability to build relationships with
multi-national teams, and a genuine interest in sharing skills and experience
with legal and non-legal business colleagues.
·
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced corporate
environment, and a genuine interest in technology and cyber-security products
and services.
·
Ability to communicate fluently in English, both
orally and in writing.
·
Preference will be given to candidates who are
bilingual (Arabic/English).
