Job Purpose An elite Data Scientist with experience in leading a team of highly qualified fellow
AI / Data Scientists to build products/projects with best-in-class Machine Learning
Frameworks and Techniques. You will interact with multiple industries, capitalizing
on the emerging trends and technologies to drive the required outcomes. You will
be a technology evangelist and thought leader, motivated to generate new
knowledge. You will act like an entrepreneur, handle complex business solutions
and push the wider team to innovate and deliver meaningful cost-effective
business solutions. You will be interacting with CxO’s as a trusted advisor. You will
be hands-on on the technical matters to ensure high quality delivery. You will
handle team building activities such as recruitment, internships and conferences.
You will motivate team members towards growing the impact of AI on projects
across multiple modalities such as Text, Images and Speech.

Responsibilities
 Device and execute the strategy for the department to be the leading AI
Technology player in the market
 Architect and Develop Business Solutions based on the latest and best of
the breeding AI methodologies
 Coach, mentor and develop the team with hand-on technical abilities
 Own the solution cycle and help the sales team win business
 Deliver projects and products successfully based on the agreed budget and
timeline
 Facilitate collaboration and motivate the team to achieve more
 Proactively advocate and maintain best practices
 Stay abreast with cutting edge-research to elevate team status
 Offer to get hands-on via coding and code reviews
 Constantly analyze about adding new functionality to our products
 Present ideas to the broader team and convert to code
 Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
 Assist in budgeting and recruitment processes
 Constantly push for publishing and patenting our research.
Educational
Qualification Ph.D. or MS degree
Experience Minimum Ph.D. +9 or MS +13 years with relevant industry experience
Essential Skills  Practice of Machine Learning (ML) algorithms and data mining techniques
in one or more applied areas of Text, Image and Speech processing.
 Publications in a reputed conferences/ journals will be a plus
 Proven leadership skills, Project & Product management skills and usage of
tools such as Jira
 Proven experience in developing pipelines for both structured and
unstructured data.
 Interface with cross-functional teams including AI/Data Scientists and
Software Engineers.
 Experience with popular Machine Learning frameworks
 Expert level programming skills in at least one of Python/Java, to mentor
the team
 Broad experience working with Educational/ Finance/ Health data sets are
preferred
 Excellent communication skills, especially in English, Arabic is optional
 Previous experience in a startup environment will be a plus
