Responsibilities:
1- Conduct periodic network monitoring and intrusion detection analysis to determine if there have
been any attacks on the system. Analyze network traffic to identify anomalies, and test the information
security controls for weaknesses.

2- Respond to threats if malicious activity has been detected in the system by taking actions to
mitigate/contain the activity and minimize damage and may also facilitate forensics analysis to
determine the source of the threat.

3- Design and implement new safeguards to protect the system by working with other IT teams to
implement the new safeguards, whether it is in the form of software, hardware, or new operating
procedures.

4- Handle & Manage network security solutions like NAC, AAA, IPS etc…
5- Detect comprising patterns, insecure features, and malicious activities within the organization

6- Plan and appraise ongoing assessment of application control, firewall, VPN, SSL, NAC, intrusion

7- Ensure network security best practices are executed through auditing: router, change control,

Preferred Skills:
1- Extensive technical know-how of security network devices (switches, antivirus, firewalls,
cryptography) and any other security networking hardware or software tools

2- Working Knowledge of Cisco & Palo Alto Firewalls and strong routing & switching experience is
an added advantage

3- Reviewing system changes for security implications and recommending improvements
4- Excellent hands-on experience and knowledge implementing, configuring, integrating and
supporting the network security with F5 Load balancers, NAC, AAA, McAfee IPS, RSA Token security
solutions.

5- Working Knowledge of networking concepts such as WAN connectivity, encryption, transport
types and protocols, and experience with wireless technology and Wireless deployment for a large

6- Cisco orientated IOS understanding, working with Routers, Wireless Controllers and Switch
