Analyst Academic Support System Permanent

The Analyst – Academic Support Systems is an experienced
analyst who will work to support the University’s effort to maintain and
enhance core business applications, effectively and efficiently applying
technological and business solutions. S/he will analyze, develop, and support
academic support software solutions for academic units. S/he determines and identifies
high-level functional and technical requirements based on interactions with
the academic community and knowledge of enterprise architecture. S/he will
act as functional and technical expertise to support academic business processes
and provide data-based insights and recommendations to help optimize the
university’s IT ecosystem. 

Requirements

• Minimum
  of bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required e.g. Information
  Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering.
• Master’s
  degree is preferred
• Advanced
  computer literacy is required e.g. MS Office, Banner, Database concepts,
  Web Technologies concepts.
• Minimum
  of 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Minimum
  of 3 years of work experience in higher education
• Minimum
  of 3 years Experience with Banner, Blackboard, and other academic
  support systems
• Programming
  and systems development experience is a plus
