R3. The duties of a Microsoft Dynamics AX consultant include working to configure, test, and provide analysis of Dynamics
AX.
The exact responsibilities depend on the needs of your employer or client. Document and implement different
Dynamics AX modules to perform different ERP functions for a company.
Key Responsibilities
• AX Architecture: Good understanding on System, Technical and Functional Architecture of the Application
(PROD, UAT & DEV)
• AX Modules: Familiar with Good understanding &knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 modules like
General Ledger, Account Receivable, Accounts Payable, Procurement & Sourcing, Project Management, Cash &
Bank Management, Fixed Asset, HRM & Payroll (Middle East ISV solution)
• End User Interaction: Must be able to interact with the end user independently and understand their
requirement
• Development and Customization: Very high proficiency in Dynamics AX Development and customization
aspects (X++ programming, MorphX Solution Development, AIF, Workflow Configuration, SSRS & Enterprise
Portal)
• .NET Programming: Experience in .NET programming to develop, customize & deploy an Enterprise Portal.
• Best Practices: Should adhere to a set of best practices (X++ coding standard, naming convention, Commenting
Code, Labels and text, Exception Handling, Formatting etc.)
Education: Any Graduate
Minimum Work Experience: 7 Years (Experience with Project Management and GL Module)
Skills/Certifications (Technical & Non-Technical): SQL, X++, SSRS, Workflow, AIF, Sharepoint, Enterprise Porta
