Job Purpose:
·
The Change Manager will collaborate with
cross-functional teams to deliver change management programs including impact
analysis, organisational design, change readiness assessments, stakeholder
management, build change network and transition support ensuring all change (be
it process, technology, structure, or people) are rolled out successfully and
in a sustainable way. You will drive the communication and related change
management effort across all assigned programs. Activities must be aligned with
the overall change strategy and ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and
awareness will be key. You will work with a range of stakeholders across our
global organization, including exposure to the senior management. You will work
across many departments and with many stakeholders to ensure that the training
developed and implemented meets the needs of each function and is aligned with
the goals of the program and business/function.

Key
Accountabilities:
·
In this position, the Change Manager will execute
the strategy that makes complex change easy for our impacted users and
stakeholders. They will conduct impacts analysis to help develop and execute
the change management strategy and plan, working with project teams and
business partners who are eager to make change happen.
·
The change management plans will guide business
partners to achieve operational success and drive adoption for end-users. Key
to this role is the ability to build cross-function relationships, apply
critical thinking, and take the initiative to drive results.
·
Overall, the responsibility for communicating the
case for change and ensuring successful acceptance of programmes throughout the
organisation is with the change manager. As part of the change management plan
all programme-wide communication will be develop and executed through aligning
with programme activities. This is done by being responsible for leading,
planning & coordinating all internal project communication and change
management activities ensuring that all relevant stakeholders receive the
necessary information at the right time and are optimally prepared and guided
through the change.

Training is
another cornerstone of change management. For people to bring about change
effectively and learn adaptable and buildable skills, they should receive
timely and appropriate training. Each employee will receive training based on
the skills, knowledge, and behaviours necessary to implement the change.
The Change
Manager is accountable for:

Ensuring strategic alignment of the training
department with business goals
·
Evaluating individual and organisational performance
to ensure training meets the business needs and improves performance
·
Identify training needs by consulting with
stakeholders and using impact assessments
·
Develop and deliver training solutions that meet
business needs
·
Optimising training processes for efficiency
·
Selecting and managing resources, including working
with both internal employees and training vendors to develop and deliver
training
·
Manage the technologies and technical personnel
required to develop, manage and deliver training
·
Design metrics to measure training success and
adoption of the change
Job Context:
·
Develop individual change programmes, coordinate
clear change strategies for change to meet business needs
·
Ensure that a tangible definition of the target
state business and operating model is available as part of the project design
·
Conduct impact analyses across customer groups to
evaluate target state gaps in processes, systems, reports, governance and
organisational design and resourcing of each affected group.
·
Complete Change readiness assessment of the impacted
business area/s to identify acceptance of the change and readiness to implement
·
Build Change network and enrolls Change Champions
across each business area impacted by the change providing support to manage
the changes effectively
·
Perform transition support of the change impact be
it process, technology, structure or people ensuring change is accepted,
implemented, and managed going forward
·
Implements effective change management strategies
that ensure corrective action plans to manage detractors, reinforcement
mechanisms to adapt to the target state, recognition and celebration
opportunities and post-change reviews
·
Responsible for the design of the communications
strategy, approach, and delivery.
·
Provide clear communications to all key stakeholders
on change related issues.
·
Develop 2-way communication channels to foster
ongoing organisational change.
·
Monitor communication effectiveness and adapts
strategy where necessary to ensure continued effectiveness.
·
Provide key stakeholder assessment & management
ensuring any requirements/needs are identified early and are considered
·
Institute mechanisms and communication programmes to
enhance stakeholder engagement, ownership, and support for the project
implementation
·
Work with Marketing and Internal Communications team
to ensure internal / external communications are developed and released
informing the staff and/or clients of the change impact and are on Brand
·
Develop awareness materials, sessions and plans to
ensure adequate knowledge building on how the change will affect different
types of stakeholders, preparing for the go live and post implementation stages
of the change
·
Design and support Roadshow for the staff and/or
clients to inform of coming changes. Leads Q&A sessions
·
Identify metrics and performance indicators to
measure the effectiveness of change rollout and implement continuous monitoring
and reporting processes
·
Provide expertise and knowledge to ensure
communication tools are deployed in support of all programme /project
deliverables
·
Support identification of stakeholders, define
current and target engagement levels, ensure stakeholder management activities
are planned and executed and monitor results
·
Monitor change impact of planned project activities,
prepare the organisation for change & ensure business stability is
maintained throughout project
·
Designs training strategy & performs training
needs analysis
·
Ensure skills and knowledge needed for transition
have been identified
Establish skills assessments, to be continually conducted for change
projects and gaps are identified for transition.
·
Monitor that training is developed and scheduled
proactively, based on identified gaps through needs assessments
·
Support, design or manage flexible methods which are
employed for training i.e. Web Based, Webcasts, Guides, In Class Training etc
·
Guarantees the delivery of appropriate training
programmes to support expected users to acquire and build the necessary skills
to effectively sustain the rolled-out deliverables, thus enabling the expected
tangible, behavioural and cultural outcomes
·
Provides input, document requirements and support
the design and delivery of training programs for all types of stakeholder
groups, where necessary through the onboarding of required third party
partners.

Ensures training plans and customised materials
including FAQs are in place for all types of users or customers of the project
deliverables
·
Confirm metrics have been identified to monitor user
adoption rates and thresholds during various stages of the rollout
·
Support where personnel need to be continuously
trained and updated on knowledge base of new issues during the programme
·
Carry out transition to BAU training teams to ensure
ongoing training and support is managed for new users.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
·
Advanced
understanding of project management (Agile) methodology
·
Comprehend
detailed technical updates and translating them into consumable insights for
non-technical teams
·
Create
clear, compelling communication materials within a cohesive framework
·
Analyse
and compile data from multiple sources by pulling it all together into one
output
·
Able
to work with rapidly changing requirements, being able to handle ambiguity and
can be flexible in the change approach
·
3+
years of experience applying change management principles, methodologies, and
tools for implementing change programs
·
3+
years of experience with project communications and change management.
Experience is preferably from an Investment & Retail banking or a large
international company.

2+
years’ experience in training and development
·
A
highly organized, energetic, and creative change professional
·
Excellent
written and verbal communication skills with outstanding attention to detail
·
An
amazing communicator, who has impactful presence and can easily simplify
messaging, and incorporate storytelling
·
A
high degree of self-confidence and able to effectively work with and influence
stakeholders at all levels of organisation
