About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our dynamic team at a leading bank in Dubai. This role will be responsible for analyzing financial and customer data to drive insights, support strategic decision-making, and optimize operations across departments such as Retail Banking, Risk, Compliance, and Digital Services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from multiple banking systems

• Develop dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs)

• Identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights from customer and transactional data

• Work closely with business teams to define reporting requirements and provide data-driven recommendations

• Automate data processes and improve data workflows using tools such as SQL, Python, or Power BI

• Collaborate with IT and compliance teams to ensure data accuracy, governance, and security

• Support ad-hoc analysis requests from senior management, risk, and audit departments

• Monitor data quality and resolve data integrity issues proactively

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, or related field

• 2–5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within the banking or financial sector

• Strong experience with SQL, Power BI, Excel, and Python or R

• Solid understanding of financial products, customer segmentation, and regulatory frameworks

• Experience working with data visualization and BI tools

• Strong attention to detail, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to explain complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders

• Knowledge of data privacy and compliance regulations in the UAE is a plus
