Job Description: Data Analytics Specialist
We are hiring an experienced Data Analytics Specialist to join our team and support our data-driven transformation initiatives. This full-time position reports directly to the SVP of BCM and focuses on designing, building and delivering advanced data analytics solutions that enable better decision-making across the bank. The ideal candidate will have strong practical experience with data analysis, business intelligence tools and a solid understanding of banking operations.
Key Responsibilities
– Design and implement advanced data analytics models and dashboards to provide insights for key banking operations.
– Collect, clean and process large datasets from multiple sources to support various business functions.
– Develop and maintain BI reports and visualizations for stakeholders to monitor performance and identify trends.
– Work closely with business units to translate their data needs into practical analytical solutions.
– Support the development of predictive models and forecasting tools to enhance business planning.
– Ensure data accuracy and consistency by applying best practices in data governance and quality control.
– Document data flows, processes and reports according to internal standards and compliance requirements.
– Stay up to date with emerging trends in data analytics, BI and banking technologies to suggest improvements and innovation.
Required Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Intelligence or a related field. Master’s degree is an advantage.
– Minimum of 5 to 6 years of proven experience in data analytics, business intelligence or a similar role within banking or financial services.
– Strong hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Qlik.
– Solid SQL skills and experience working with large datasets and relational databases.
– Experience with data visualization best practices and presenting insights to business stakeholders.
– Knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modelling and data mining techniques.
– Understanding of data governance, data quality and data privacy standards.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Strong communication skills to translate complex data findings into clear business insights.
