Data Engineer Cloud (Databricks) Contract

Role: Data Engineer (Cloud/Databricks)
Location: Abudhabi
Job Type: Contract (12 months extendable)

Summary: 
We are seeking an experienced data engineer with experience primarily on cloud tools and most importantly with Databricks platform, either on Azure or AWS.
This role will require experience building scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELTs and automated jobs to ensure data flows properly through our platform.

Key Responsibilities: 
•Tech Stack – Experience with Databricks as a Data Platform, either Azure or AWS. Additional certifications in various scripting language such as spark, python, sql, scala and others. 
•Banking Expertise (ideal) – Leverage your in-depth knowledge of banking processes, risk management, fraud detection, customer analytics, and other relevant areas to develop data science strategies that address industry-specific challenges. 
•Monitoring and Optimization – Implement monitoring solutions to track system health, and resource usage, proactively optimizing pipelines and processes. 
 
Qualifications: – 
•Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science/information technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
•Proven experience in developing and deploying data pipelines in cloud platforms, specifically using Databricks tools. 
•Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Pyspark, Scala, SQL, and others
