Role: Digital Security Architect Manager
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Job Type: 12-Month Extendable Contract

Job Purpose:

We’re seeking an experienced Digital Security Architect Manager to lead digital security efforts for one of Abu Dhabi's leading banks. In this role, you’ll take charge of safeguarding digital assets and data, designing secure solutions, and implementing a robust security strategy. You’ll work closely with key stakeholders across IT, digital teams, and business units to ensure the bank’s digital transformation is secure, compliant, and resilient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Digital Security Strategy: Develop and implement a security roadmap, embedding security measures into digital and cloud projects.
• Data Protection: Act as the primary guardian of the bank’s digital data, preventing unauthorized access and mitigating security risks.
• Cloud Security & Compliance: Design and manage security architecture frameworks in Azure (AWS is a plus) to meet global standards (ISO 27001, PCI DSS) and local regulatory requirements.
• Leadership & Consultation: Serve as a trusted security advisor across departments, providing guidance on risk management and secure digital practices.
• Vendor and Third-Party Management: Oversee security assessments for vendors and digital projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and security requirements.
• Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments, privacy impact assessments, and implement proactive controls to strengthen digital security.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 8-12 years in information security with a focus on cloud security architecture, ideally in financial services.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Azure, Intrusion Detection Systems, cryptography, and network security protocols.
• Security Standards: Proficiency in ISO 27001, NESA, TOGAF, SABSA, and related security frameworks.
• Certifications: CISSP, CISM, TOGAF, and cloud certifications (Azure, AWS) are highly valued.
• Behavioral Competencies: Strategic thinker with excellent communication and leadership skills, able to influence and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
