Enterprise Agile Coach
Role: Enterprise Agile Coach
Location: UAE, but with some
remote working
Background:
The Bank embarked on an Agile Transformation program last
year. The aim of the program is to create and maintain momentum in the
transition to new ways of working, with the aim of delivering world class
banking services. The program is
gaining momentum: the Technology Division has been re-structured to support
Agile delivery, and the Transformation Team is currently working with a growing
number of Agile teams. The Enterprise
Agile Coach will be assigned to an area of the bank, a domain, e.g. Personal Banking
Group, Core Systems, etc. and is also expected to contribute to the overall
transformation program.
Key responsibilities:

Support your assigned domain and their
stakeholders in the transformation; mentor the senior team, identify their key
blockers, and maintain a roadmap of teams to enter the program.

Conduct team observations to identify the most
appropriate approach for training / coaching
·
Provide coaching to the teams, both at a team
and individual level, so they adopt an Agile way of working
·
Deliver Agile training to the Agile teams and
other stakeholders
·
Create or contribute to, and evolve Agile
training materials that are tailored to the Bank, including Agile team
training, role specific training, and Agile leadership
·
Liaise with other coaches to ensure we capture
dependencies and learnings, particularly in the early stages
·
Contribute to the development of the program
including but not limited to defining the best way to:
o engage
senior stakeholders from technology and business in the process
o scale
up beyond the pilots
o continually
optimise the approach
o support
the Transformation Team in defining the Target Operating Model
o support
the re-design of processes in the Bank designed for waterfall projects, e.g.
the funding / planning cycle

Create and deliver awareness sessions to senior
stakeholders
Key experience /
skills:
·
Worked in Agile for a minimum of 10 years, in
a mix of delivery and coaching roles, some of which was spent in a large,
complex organization
·
Been part of two or more Agile transformation
programs
·
Can demonstrate their ability to influence
senior stakeholders and contribute to a change of mindset in an organisation
·
In-depth knowledge of different Agile
frameworks, in particular Scrum and Kanban, plus one or more scaling frameworks
·
Certified as an Agile Coach and/or Scrum
Master
·
Able to work in a hands on role, whilst also
contributing at a program level
·
Flexible approach, and proactive in identifying
additional value they can add
