We are looking for an IT Service Continuity Analyst to
join the IT Service Continuity Team, reporting to theLead, IT Service Continuity. The role will be responsible for
liaising with Technology and Support teams inUAE and the overseas locations to manage the Bank’s overall IT Service
Continuity & Disaster RecoveryProgram& Continuityposture.
Ø Work
with IT Teams to help maintain IT Service Continuity / IT Disaster Recovery
Program & process,documentation,
templates and reports that is compliant with the requirements of the Bank’s
BusinessContinuity Management
process as well as all the financial regulators and Central Bank in the regionandoverseaslocations
Ø Coordinate
and collaborate with IT Teams and internal stakeholders to produce, maintain
and testservice continuity plans
& procedures for all IT Systems, applications & Infrastructure
componentshostedindatacentersintheregion andoverseaslocations
Ø Ensure
that the IT Disaster Recovery Plans for all IT Systems, applications &
Infrastructurecomponents are duly
reviewed and approved by all the stakeholders from technical and managementside
Ø Participate
in the Disaster Recovery Exercises for IT systems & components hosted in
Bank’s DataCenter as well as at
overseas locations by defining and documenting clear scope & scenario,
planning& executing the tests
as per schedules and producing a detailed Exercise Report capturing all therelevantdetails&outcomeof theexercisealongwithidentifiedareasof
improvements
Ø Manage,
communicate and coordinate with Bank’s international regions on their
respective DRexercises. Work with
UAE’s Head Office technical resources and international IT teams to execute thetest and produce a DR Exercise scope
document, Exercise Report & capture all actions, issues andareasof
improvementsfrom thetests
Ø Centrallydocument&manageallthegaps,areasofimprovements,issuesandactionsfrom theoutcomesofDR
tests
Ø Log
proactive problem tickets and regularly drive and monitor the progress of DR
test related gaps,issues,areasof improvementand actionsuntil final closure
Ø Ensure
all international regions update and regularly maintain a site level Disaster
Recovery Plandocument capturing
recovery details in the event loss of full site or connectivity with Head
Office DataCentersinUAE
Ø Maintain
and update the e-battle box (central repository for all IT DR Plan and
procedure documents)and ensure
there is a governance framework to ensure these documents are well catalogued
and areuptodate(reviewedandupdatedannuallyatleast)
Ø Managethemonthly/yearlyBusinessContinuityExercise forallBank’skeylocationsinUAE
Ø Ensure
coordination efforts with Group Business Continuity Management & Business
ContinuityCoordinators for readiness
of all IT requirements for the BC exercises & also participate in the
exerciseand manage the IT incident
handling by being available at the Recovery site along with required ITsupportteams
Ø MaintainacomprehensiveITtestingschedule/DRTestingCalendar,includingthetestingofallcontinuityplansinlinewithbusinessrequirementsand aftereverymajorbusinesschange
Ø AssessingchangesinIT fortheirimpactonITServiceContinuityand IT ContinuityPlans
Ø
Previous experience of working in a IT Service Continuity
/ IT Disaster Recovery role for minimum 3yearswithinacorporateenvironment(preferablyBanksorFinancial
Institutions)
Ø Excellentinterpersonalskills,includingcollaborationandanalytical
Ø Strongcommunication,stakeholdermanagementandstakeholderinfluencingskillsarecritical
Ø StrongunderstandingofInformationTechnologyandabletocallonSMEexpertiseasrequired
