Junior Hyperscalers Cloud Consultant Contract

Job Purpose

We are looking for a skilled and dynamic Cloud Consultant with expertise in hyperscaler cloud platforms, preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation coupled with excellent consulting skills to design and deliver customized cloud solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, manage, and optimize cloud solutions.
• Configure and deploy cloud resources while ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into technical solutions.
• Conduct cloud assessments to identify performance improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
• Implement best practices for cloud operations, governance, and compliance.
• Deliver technical workshops and training sessions for clients and internal teams.
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in OCI, GCP, and other hyperscaler platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience & Skills:

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with a major hyperscaler (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to act quickly.
• Good understanding of containers, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Experience with troubleshooting, upgrades, and implementation of operating systems (Linux, Windows).
• Basic knowledge of cloud security services and firewall management.
• Understanding of cloud architecture, networking, security, and best practices.
• Banking industry experience is a plus.
