LPM Analyst Contract
Job Title: Analyst – Loan Portfolio Management (LPM)
Duration: 6 Months (Contract) renewable
Location: Abu Dhabi
Job Brief:
We are seeking an Analyst to support the Loan Portfolio Management (LPM) project. The role will focus on requirement gathering, data cleansing, system testing, and active participation in covenant tracking within the LPM system. The successful candidate will ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting while supporting the LPM team in facility reviews, documentation checks, and portfolio monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in requirement gathering for the development of the LPM system.
- Support data cleansing activities of facilities prior to integration into the LPM system.
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure functionality, accuracy, and reliability of developed systems and modules, with timely reporting of defects.
- Assume a “maker” role in the LPM system to create and test Covenant Trackers, requiring a strong understanding of credit analysis:
- Review facility documents (e.g., LMA) and validate terms for IB clients (Corporates, GREs, SWFs, FIs).
- Review waivers and amendment requests received from Agents, Borrowers, or Coverage Teams.
- Highlight early warning signals from financials, covenant compliance certificates, and other relevant sources.
- Assist the LPM team in gathering information for annual facility reviews.
- Conduct periodic reviews of document deficiencies, including any security or collateral held in the LPM portfolio.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong understanding of credit analysis and loan facility documentation (e.g., LMA).
- Experience in requirement gathering, data cleansing, and system testing.
- Knowledge of covenant tracking and compliance monitoring.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify early warning signals from financial and market data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to Loan Portfolio Management systems and processes.
- Familiarity with waiver/amendment processes and covenant compliance reporting.
- Ability to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders (Agents, Borrowers, Coverage Teams).
