Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Network Security to lead and manage enterprise network security operations within a large-scale, transformation-driven environment.

This role will be responsible for overseeing network security architecture, optimisation initiatives, and leading a team of engineers to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and manage a team of 5–6 network/security engineers
• Provide technical direction, mentoring, and performance oversight
• Drive best practices across network security operations

Network Security & Architecture

• Design, implement, and optimise secure network infrastructure
• Lead initiatives around network performance and optimisation
• Ensure alignment with enterprise security standards and policies

Technology & Operations

• Manage and support core technologies including:
  • Palo Alto (firewalls / security solutions)
  • Cisco (network infrastructure)
  • Aruba (wireless technologies)
• Oversee SD-WAN environments and ensure optimal performance and security
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience across network environments

Governance & Risk Management

• Identify and mitigate network security risks
• Ensure compliance with internal governance frameworks and industry standards
• Support audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives

Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with internal IT teams, leadership, and external vendors
• Act as a key point of contact for network security strategy and operations
• Align technical delivery with business and transformation objectives

Key Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in network and security domains
• Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role
• Strong expertise in:
  • Network optimisation and performance tuning
  • SD-WAN technologies
  • Enterprise security architecture
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Palo Alto
  • Cisco networking technologies
  • Aruba wireless solutions

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in large-scale or transformation environments
• Strong understanding of IT governance and enterprise architecture
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and vendors
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
