Job description :

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality BI/analytical solutions.
• Design and create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools (predominantly Power BI, SSRS, SSAS, SSIS) to deliver actionable insights to business users.
• Innovate the development and application of new intelligence/analytical methods that can perform consistently and can scale to deliver real value to the Bank.
• Experience working with a variety of data sources, database types, query authoring (SQL), as well as common data modelling, analytics and visualization toolsets.
• Expert knowledge of working with common Data Warehousing/Data Lake technologies as well as BI tooling (ideally Microsoft Power BI and SQL Server Analysis Services).
• Highly proficient in manipulating, processing and extracting value from large, disconnected datasets (near real-time or event-driven data would be an advantage).
• Solid understanding of banking/financial services domain (particularly back-office treasury/finance/accounting and regulatory reporting) About the company
• Continuously monitor and optimize the performance, reliability, and scalability of the Bank’s BI solutions to meet evolving business needs.
• Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement efficient data integration workflows and processes.
• Building data connection using both technologies i.e., direct query and data load
• Crafting and executing queries upon request for data Presenting information through reports and visualization.
• Create Power BI reports based on business requirements with linked content, drilldowns, and nested parameters.
• Optimize Microsoft Power BI dashboards with a focus on usability, performance, flexibility, testability, and standardization.
• Data modeling, Calculations, Conversions, Scheduling Data refreshes in Power-BI.
• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer is a must.
• Industry experience is preferred.
• Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining.
• Create Power BI reports based on business requirements with linked content, drilldowns, and nested parameters.
• Optimize Microsoft Power BI dashboards with a focus on usability, performance, flexibility, testability, and standardization.
• Creating technical documentation for BI interface
• Self-motivated and well organized with strong time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy and a sense of personal accountability.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work well with all levels of the organization.
• Practical experience in business analytics or intelligence along with working knowledge of a variety of data analysis techniques.
