Role: Wealth Platform – Product Engineer

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Engagement: Contractual

Duration: 12 Months (Extendable, Long-term with Marc Ellis)

 

Job Summary:

 

A Techno-functional FinIQ Wealth Product Engineer with strong hands-on experience in .NET and SQL, responsible for the stability, evolution, and continuous improvement of a Wealth Management platform. The role combines product ownership, platform engineering, and functional domain expertise, supporting the product across its full lifecycle in a live enterprise environment. The Product Engineer owns the day-to-day health and evolution of the Wealth platform, working closely with business users, product stakeholders, and technology teams. The role bridges product intent and technical execution, ensuring the platform delivers business value while remaining stable, scalable, and supportable.

 

Education:

• Degree, Postgraduate in Computer Science or related field

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and support the FinIQ Wealth Management platform as a product.
• Configure, customize, and enhance FinIQ modules across the front-to-back trade lifecycle.
• Act as a key contributor to product stability, usability, and performance.
• Develop and support platform components using .NET.
• Use SQL for data analysis, debugging, root cause analysis, and operational reporting.
• Translate business needs into product and technical enhancements.
• Support integrations between FinIQ and surrounding systems.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation opportunities, and platform optimisation.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security, testing, and documentation.
• Collaborate with business, operations, vendors, and internal technology teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and product delivery cycles.

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience with FinIQ (implementation, customization, or production support).
• Strong exposure to Wealth Management and Trading platforms.
• Solid understanding of wealth products (Equities, Bonds, Trading instruments).
• Experience operating in techno-functional or product-aligned engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET.
• Strong SQL skills for querying, debugging, and production analysis.
• Experience supporting enterprise-grade, business-critical products/platforms.
• Familiarity with API integrations and system-to-system data flows.
• Understanding of front-to-back trade lifecycle processes.
• Exposure to AI Agents, automation, or intelligent operational workflows.
• Experience working in Agile / product delivery environments.

• Able to influence multiple teams on technical considerations, increasing their productivity and effectiveness, by sharing deep knowledge and experience.
• Self-motivator and self-starter, ability to own and drive things without supervision and work collaboratively with teams across the organization.
