Sanction Analyst (Investigation) Contract

Role: AVP Compliance – Sanctions Advisory
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE                          
Job Type: 6 months’ extendable
 
Requirements:
-Strong grasp of sanctions laws and regulations is required.
-Previous experience in conducting sanctions investigations is necessary.
-Experience with projects or analysis related to Russian sanctions is preferred.
-Ability to stay updated on evolving sanctions regulations issued by international bodies and UAE authorities is essential.
-Proficiency in assessing sanctions-related risks within an organization is required.
-Bonus skill: Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex sanctions investigation findings or thematic review results to stakeholders from different departments.
-Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Banking or Finance, preferably with certification in compliance, AML, risk management or internal audit.
-Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sanctions investigation or a related compliance role.
-Proven analytical skills with the ability to dissect complex information, identify patterns, and develop typologies
