Job Title: SAP S/4HANA Finance Solution Consultant

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Duration: 12 months congtract ( extendable)

 

Job Summary:

Our client, one of the largest aviation groups are undergoing a major transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, aiming to modernize and streamline its financial operations. We are seeking a highly skilled SAP S/4HANA Finance Consultant with strong hands-on experience in FI/CO modules to support the implementation, configuration, and integration of financial systems within the new SAP landscape.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the configuration and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Finance modules, including FI, CO, AA, and PA.

  • Drive the migration strategy from ECC to S/4HANA, ensuring data integrity and business continuity.

  • Collaborate with finance, IT, and business teams to gather requirements and design scalable finance solutions.

  • Perform hands-on configuration in SPRO and ensure accurate system setup across GL, AP, AR, tax, assets, and controlling.

  • Coordinate testing phases including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.

  • Prepare functional documentation, test scripts, and training materials.

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, governance, and IFRS regulations.

  • Support integration with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, PS, and HR.

  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to business users and internal consultants.

  • Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to system optimization post-go-live.

Requirements:

  • 8–10 years of experience in SAP Finance (FI/CO), with at least 3–5 years in S/4HANA implementations.

  • Proven experience in brownfield migration projects (minimum 2–3 full cycles).

  • Strong configuration experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance 2021 or 2023 version.

  • Deep understanding of end-to-end finance processes including AP, AR, GL, AA, and CO.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage directly with finance stakeholders and technical teams.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or IT.

  • SAP S/4HANA Finance certification (FI/CO) is mandatory.

  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and integration techniques is a plus.

  • PMP certification or experience working in Agile project environments is preferred.

  • Aviation or travel industry experience is an advantage.
