Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable cloud environments across enterprise systems. The role will be responsible for deploying and maintaining cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, and supporting multiple projects across both public cloud and on-premise environments.
You will play a key role in building, configuring, and operating cloud solutions while ensuring security, reliability, and compliance with organisational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture & Deployment
- Design, build, and deploy cloud solutions across public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Set up and configure cloud environments aligned with business and technical requirements
- Implement scalable, high-availability architectures
Cloud Operations & Performance
- Monitor and manage cloud environments to ensure optimal performance and availability
- Support multiple cloud-based projects and enterprise solutions simultaneously
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues
Security & Access Management
- Configure and manage cloud security controls, identity, and access management (IAM)
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices
- Implement network security, encryption, and access governance
Implementation & Optimisation
- Plan and execute cloud migrations and deployments
- Optimise cloud environments for performance, cost, and efficiency
- Ensure successful operation and continuous improvement of cloud solutions
Hybrid & On-Prem Integration
- Integrate cloud solutions with on-premises infrastructure
- Support hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud strategies
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure roles
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (multi-cloud preferred)
- Experience working with hybrid environments (cloud + on-premises)
- Strong understanding of:
- Cloud architecture and deployment models
- Networking, security, and access management (IAM)
- Infrastructure monitoring and performance optimisation
Preferred Qualifications
- Cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with DevOps tools, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
- Experience in enterprise-scale environments
