Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support the Advanced Analytics function within Technology Engineering. The role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and secure infrastructure for Python-based analytics and ML workloads within a banking environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across both IaaS (VM-based infrastructure) and PaaS (containerized CI/CD environments), ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant deployments.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or Information Technology.
• 8+ years of total engineering experience.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in a DevOps / CI/CD role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for Python-based analytics projects
• Manage microservices CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD
• Build and maintain Helm-based deployment pipelines
• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy to Kubernetes/OpenShift
• Automate security and compliance validation checks within deployment pipelines
• Implement automated patching and infrastructure updates
• Manage and support VM-based infrastructure environments (IaaS)
• Support production environments on rotation and participate in incident resolution
• Collaborate with analytics, ML, and engineering teams in Agile squads

Technical Skills:

• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD
• Scripting: Groovy (pipeline automation), Python (basic to intermediate)
• Containerization: Docker
• Orchestration: Kubernetes / OpenShift
• Deployment automation using Helm
• Linux OS and shell scripting
• Source control using Git
• Experience automating security and compliance checks
• Experience with production support and incident management
• Experience managing and supporting IaaS environments (VM-based infrastructure, OS-level configuration, patching) alongside containerized PaaS platforms
• Public cloud exposure – Nice to have
• Experience supporting ML / Data Science workloads – Nice to have
