Job Summary:

 

Senior techno-functional FinIQ Wealth Product Engineer with strong hands-on experience in .NET and SQL, responsible for owning the stability, evolution, and continuous improvement of an enterprise Wealth Management platform. The role combines deep product ownership, platform engineering, and wealth domain expertise, operating across the full product lifecycle in a live, business-critical environment. The role acts as a key owner of the Wealth platform, working closely with business stakeholders, product owners, vendors, and technology teams. It balances technical execution with product judgment, ensuring the platform remains stable, scalable, and aligned with business objectives, while operating within the client’s established engineering role structure. This is not a pure software development role, but a senior, platform-focused, techno-functional position with clear accountability for product outcomes.

 

Education:

• Degree, Postgraduate in Computer Science or related field

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and lead the day-to-day health of the FinIQ Wealth Management platform.
• Configure, customize, and enhance FinIQ modules across the front-to-back trade lifecycle.
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex platform and production issues.
• Design and drive solutions for platform enhancements and operational improvements.
• Develop and support platform components using .NET.
• Use SQL for deep data analysis, debugging, root-cause analysis, and production reporting.
• Support and oversee integrations between FinIQ and upstream/downstream systems.
• Translate business requirements into robust, scalable product and platform solutions.
• Drive platform stability, performance optimisation, and operational risk reduction.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security, testing, and documentation practices.
• Contribute to automation, AI-assisted operations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with business users, vendors, and internal technology teams.
• Participate actively in Agile / product delivery ceremonies.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with FinIQ (implementation, customization, or production support).
• Deep exposure to Wealth Management and Trading platforms.
• Solid understanding of wealth products, including Equities, Bonds, and Trading instruments.
• Proven experience in senior techno-functional or product-aligned engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET in enterprise environments.
• Strong SQL skills for advanced querying, debugging, and production data analysis.
• Experience owning and supporting enterprise-grade, business-critical platforms or products.
• Strong understanding of API integrations and system-to-system data flows.
• Deep understanding of front-to-back trade lifecycle processes.
• Strong product ownership and accountability mindset.
• Ability to make sound technical and functional decisions in high-pressure production environments.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders across business and technology teams.
• Exposure to AI Agents, intelligent automation, or AI-enabled operational workflows.
• Experience working in Agile / product-centric delivery environments.
