Job Title: Senior Product Designer
Duration: 6-Months, Extendable
Location: Onsite: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Job Brief:
The candidate will be a member of the Design team within the Digital Office organization,
responsible for crafting engaging digital experiences and user flows. Utilizing design best practices,
patterns, and principles, they will develop concepts and oversee content creation. They will design all
visual components with a strong aesthetic sense, ensuring a cohesive and compelling digital
presence. Additionally, they will lead the look and feel of mockups and creative concepts while
collaborating with multidisciplinary designers, researchers, technologists, and business stakeholders
to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Leadership & Product Design
✓ Lead the overall visual direction and creative execution of the product, ensuring alignment
with the Head of Design’s vision.
✓ Define and maintain the brand personality, ensuring consistency across digital experiences.
✓ Create wireframes, UX flows, and interactive prototypes based on project requirements.
✓ Collaborate with designers, researchers, and UI engineers to develop user experiences within
an Agile framework.
✓ Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to clarify and refine design decisions.
Planning & Assessment
✓ Estimate effort and plan design workstreams for user experience and information
architecture.
✓ Define content strategy, target audience, and usability principles to enhance digital
experiences.
✓ Translate feature-oriented requirements into actionable design backlog items.
✓ Conduct user testing activities, such as card sorting and treejack testing, to refine user needs
and preferences.
✓ Evaluate existing digital experiences for UX consistency, navigation clarity, and overall
effectiveness.
Collaboration & Communication
✓ Work closely with designers, business stakeholders, and front-end engineers to shape
engaging digital experiences.
✓ Ensure smooth handover of designs to development teams, integrating feedback into high-
quality final products.
✓ Clearly articulate design decisions to cross-functional teams and business leaders.
✓ Gather business requirements, communicate design concepts, and support product owners in
refining product specifications.
✓ Accept and incorporate constructive feedback to enhance design outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education
✓ Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interactive Media Design, or a related field.
✓ A graduate degree is a plus and will be considered an asset.
✓ Strong foundation in Design Thinking, creative problem-solving, and industry-standard
software & prototyping tools.
✓ Hands-on experience in UX/UI or related domains.
Experience
✓ 8+ years of experience in a related field.
✓ Experience in the banking or financial industry is an asset.
✓ Experience in the GCC region is an asset.
Knowledge & Skills
✓ Expertise in Human-Centered Design practices.
✓ Proficiency in designing for native app UI and web interfaces.
