Role: Software Engineer (ATM/CDM)
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Engagement: Contractual
Duration: 12 Months (Extendable, Long-term with Marc Ellis)

Job Summary:

The Software Engineer (ATM/CDM) is responsible for configuring, deploying, and maintaining Aptra Activate
and related systems, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices. This individual
combines a strong technical foundation with solid functional and communication skills to deliver reliable, high-
performing solutions. They will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product
delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement.

Education:

• Degree, Postgraduate in Computer Science or related field

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience implementing, configuring and maintaining products.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Aptra Activate

Functional Skills:

• Understand a product’s functionalities and its users.
• Analyze business requirements.
• Able to distil information into high-level understanding in order to build great products.
• Aware of technical and resource constraints of a product.
• Alert to technical opportunities that can improve a product.
• Size engineering effort based on functional and non-functional requirements.
• Deep knowledge of a product, its roadmap, competitors, and the relevant industry.
• Able to work cross-functionally with designers, solution architects, product owners, data scientists, and business.

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn.
• Self-motivated and proactive; works well independently and with teams.
• Confident in presenting to senior IT and business stakeholders.
• Able to train and mentor team members.
