Systems Engineer Permanent

• Primarily responsible for managing both on-premises and cloud-based servers, including Microsoft and VMware environments. This includes tasks such as provisioning, deployment, backup, patching, and upgrading.

• Proficiency in Commvault backup is required, including managing tape and disk storage.

• Experience in administering and managing SAN and NAS storage systems is necessary.

• Responsible for overseeing the Office 365 ecosystem, including tasks related to Microsoft Licensing, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and more.

• Manage and administer Azure workloads.

• Handle the administration of Active Directory and Azure Entra, including user account creation/deletion, domain controller deployment/decommissioning, ensuring connectivity between on-premises domain controllers and Azure Entra across parent and child domains, group policies, server updates, and patching.

• Provide administrative support for various server roles such as DNS, DHCP, SharePoint, file servers, and SFTP.

• Manage and deploy Intune MDM and MAM policies.

• Provide Level 2/3 IT support, serving as an escalation point for the user support team.

• Oversee the installation and configuration of servers and server applications.

• Collaborate with vendors to identify, implement, and procure technologies that enhance IT services.

• Ensure that documentation for systems and processes is created, updated, and maintained.

• Reports directly to the IT Infrastructure Manager.
