Technology Engineer – CICD Contract

Position: Technology Engineer – CICD – OpenShift
Location: Dubai, UAE
Contract Duration: 12 months extendable
Experience: 7 to 10 years

Task & Responsibilities:

• Ability to work on projects from inception to delivery

• Decision making to decide on best solution based on cost, time and quality of options

• Cross skills in delivery but also operational support as per the new DevOps model

• Implement robust solutions to minimize operational effort

Technical skills and other qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or similar bachelor’s degree or higher
• At least 7 years total engineering or operational experience

• Automate build/deployment pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) for Python based
projects

• Micro services CI/CD pipelines; Helm based pipelines

• Some Python programming experience preferred

• Scripting using Groovy

• Automating security/regulatory checks & patching

• Containerization – Docker

• Container orchestration – Kubernetes/OpenShift

• Linux OS including shell scripting

• Source control (git) Production support (typically done on rotation)

• Agile engineering and practices

• Experience within large and complex global enterprises defined by high availability,
transaction rates, and geographical distribution.
