Job Title: IT Infrastructure Specialist/ Wintel System Administrator Location: Offshore/Remote Duration: 12 Months Extendable (Long Term with marc Ellis) Preferred #Immediate Joiner About the role: Wintel System Administrator is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related Windows infrastructure. This relates to all technology, to include workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor specific hardware and software. Cloud Support, Cloud infrastructure Monitoring in Azure/ AWS/ G42, Azure/ AWS resources knowledge (VMs, VMSS, AKS, Database ),VM Refresh, , Deployment Pipeline & Change Management, Security Minimum Qualifications: • Experience 5 to 7 year as Wintel, Cloud administrator • Certified Administrator AZ-104, AZ 900 • MCSD (Azure Solutions Architect) or MCSE (Cloud Platform and Infrastructure) • Microsoft MCSA in Windows Server 2012R2 or 2016 • Microsoft MCSA in Office 365 and SharePoint Online • Strong Experience in Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, Windows Server, Azure, AWS • Strong experience in hybrid on-premises to Cloud, private and multi-cloud and workload migration. • Previous experience supporting virtual servers and solving network issues. • Previous experience in a 24x 7 managed services, hosted service company, or Network Operations Center environment a plus. • Previous System administration and support experience (Windows operating systems; experience with mixed environments a plus). • Previous experience with Kubernetes and experience with networking subnetting, routing and firewalls. • Previous experience with Azure based deployments or other cloud platforms a plus. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience Key Responsibilities: • Familiar with Windows Cluster, File Server, DFS, OS Performance troubleshooting Experience building, managing, and upgrading VMware virtualization environments • Troubleshooting, analysis and of logging information for reporting of performance exceptions • Proactively monitoring system performance and capacity planning • Remote Management of servers through ILO, DRAC and RSA • Good experience in IT operations, Windows Administration, Windows Server Patching, Vulnerability Remediation. • Resolving Incident tickets, remote System Administration of Windows servers, resolve Level 1 & 2 support • Applying critical Microsoft Patches on servers, Management of OS related Security and Vulnerability management OS hardening and monitoring. • Upgrading Driver, Firmware, HPSP deployment on physical server • Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes • Administration of Windows based Servers (Win 2K12/2K16/2K19/2K22 • Management of Server Hardware (Chassis, Blades and rack Servers) with Hypervisors and Windows OS • Work closely with application support & security teams to implement up-to-date patch levels and application specific feature configuration • Perform advanced problem determination and root-cause-analysis • Basic Knowledge of Networking concepts (LAN, WAN, Firewall, Proxy Servers, Routers etc) • Understanding of networking concepts including IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, etc. • Support on-prem and cloud servers, including security configurations, patching, and troubleshooting. • Support cloud infrastructure models, including Private, Public, and Hybrid. • Ability to configure VMs and Web Applications through Azure Web Portal and Command Line Interface through PowerShell Interested candidates can send your CV to: [email protected]
